Our News Our News Posting for December 2008: It’s been awhile since you’ve been to our office. We thought we would take this opportunity to catch you up on what has been happening. Jessica, our part time hygienist, had a baby! Her and her family welcomed a baby girl into their lives in the beginning of June. Jessica will be on maternity leave until the beginning of September. She will be adjusting her hours and days by returning on Mondays and Tuesdays after she and baby Kaia Simone get settled. Kathy, our beloved hygienist, has recently adopted a baby boy, Michael Jr. This comes as both great joy and sadness... Kathy has gained a son and we have lost a hygienist. She has decided to become a stay at home mother and retire at this time. She will be involved in the office and keep her accreditation up to date. She will continue with us on a substitute basis. With great consideration we have found someone who we feel is just as gifted and sweet. We are pleased to welcome the newest addition to our team, Amanda Hagerty. She is a recent graduate from Lansing Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program. This program has been ranked one of the top dental hygiene schools in the nation. Amanda is vivacious 28 year old. Her father is a dentist and has been practicing in the Lansing area for over 30 years. It was only natural for Amanda to want to pursue a career in the dental field. She comes to us with a variety of dental experience from front desk to dental assisting and most recently, becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. She understands that she has “big shoes to fill” and is extremely excited to continue where Kathy left off. She looks forward to meeting you all very soon. We are extremely glad to have her.
